Atascosa County Judge Robert Hurley has been honored by the Texas Association of Counties’ (TAC) Texas Judicial Academy for going the extra mile. The Academy recognizes county judges as Fellows who attain significant judicial education beyond state re quirements.
A number of county judges were inducted as Fellows during the Academy’s 2018 Fall Judicial Education Session, Nov. 14-16 in San Marcos.
The Texas Judicial Academy is a partnership between TAC and the Texas University School of Law. The educational program is overseen by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and includes instruction by higher court judges, law school faculty, as well as representatives of the Texas Probate College and the National Judicial College.
TAC unites, supports and provides services to Texas counties so they can more effectively serve their local communities.
