South Texans love the soothing sound of raindrops on the rooftops. Atascosa County received some much-welcome precipitation recently, which sent its residents outside to check their rain gauges, and to social media to share their joy. Gardens and crops were refreshed. Holes became ponds. Flipflops were swapped out for rain boots.

So how many inches of rain did you get? The Pleasanton Express asked this question of its more than 22,000 Facebook followers. Here are some of the responses:
