The Pleasanton Express hit the trifecta of 1st place wins during the 140th Texas Press Association Better Newspaper Contest on January 18. The Pleasanton Express’ house ad created by graphic designer, Aaron Davidson, honoring Atascosa County law enforcement was awarded 1st place at the Texas Press Association (TPA), the South Texas Press Association (STPA) and the Texas Gulf Coast Press Association (TGCPA). The ad was created in honor of National Police Week.

The Pleasanton Express has brought home several hundred awards from Texas Press Association, South Texas Press Association and Gulf Coast Press Association for excellence in journalism and advertising. The Pleasanton Express, founded in 1909, prides itself on being a 21st-century news organization that is hyperlocal and dedicated to its community.
