TRUNK OR TREAT IN POTEET ON OCT. 24

On Thursday, Oct. 24, the Poteet Police Department will host Trunk or Treat from 6:30-8 p.m. Please note that this year there is a location change to Hosanna Baptist Church in Poteet.

Bring the family and enjoy candy, a pumpkin patch, cotton candy, jump castle, snow cones, photo booth, face painting and more.

RETAMA MANOR TRUNK OR TREAT

Put your Halloween costumes on and join Retama Manor North in Pleasanton for Trunk or Treat, Thursday, Oct. 24. Stop by for a night of family fun, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at their front parking lot, 404 W. Goodwin in Pleasanton.

Enjoy free candy, free kid-friendly games and free Halloween crafts.

Special needs children and teens and their immediate families are invited to the Peace for the Pieces Friday Social Group Costume Party, this Saturday, Oct. 26.

Join them for Halloween fun, at Lone Star Lodge, 4848 Granato Rd. in Poteet, from 6:30-10 p.m. Hats off to Lone Star Lodge for donating use of the venue and to Lillian Cashmer for the music. There will also be food and a costume contest.

This free event helps special-needs children learn to socialize. It also builds their self-esteem and allows them to take part in those special milestones in life that they might otherwise miss out on.

Donations are welcome for food and decorations. Volunteers are also sought for 3 p.m. on the day of the event. For details, please contact 830-570-2782.

H-E-B COSTUME CONTEST

H-E-B in Pleasanton will host their Halloween Costume Contest this Saturday, Oct. 26.

Judging starts at 1 p.m. at the BBQ seating area. They will have a winner in each age category: 0-2, 3-6 and 7-12. Winners will receive an H-E-B gift card.

FALL FESTIVAL OCT. 27 AT RIVER PARK

The annual communitywide Fall Festival will be another great night of free games, candy and fun. Admission is free.

Once again, local churches and organizations have partnered with the City of Pleasanton for the fall festival on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. at the Pleasanton River Park.

Join them for live music, delicious free food and drinks, inflatable slides and hayrides!

GEORGE FARMS EVENT

Trick or Treat at George Farms on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Pick your pumpkin off the vine!

There will be brisket plates, baked goods, snow cones, bounce house, cake walk, games, vendors, hayrides, and more! Admission is free. Come in costume for the costume contest at 4 p.m.

George Farms is located at 595 Mobile Home Alley in Poteet.

CHILDREN’S HALLOWEEN CONTEST IN POTEET

Calling all ghosts, goblins and witches! The City of Poteet will be handing out candy at the city offic- es on Halloween between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

This includes the city hall, police department and public library. The library will have some fun activities for the little ones. When you stop by the library you have a chance to win a prize for best costume. Several prizes will be given out. Don’t miss out on a safe place to trick or treat and possibly win a prize!

COWBOY FELLOWSHIP FALL FESTIVAL ON OCT. 31

Cowboy Fellowship will hold their annual Fall Festival on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m.

They will have fun games, mountain wall climb, bounce houses, bungee run, mechanical bulls, and a wildlife animal booth to name a few. Concessions will be open for food and drink purchases. The night ends with a fireworks spectacular!

The event is sponsored by Primo’s Feed & Supply.

PLEASANTON LIBRARY

The Pleasanton Public Library will have Halloween arts and crafts between 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31! Head on out for Halloween crafts!

HALLOWEEN PARTY & HAUNTED HOUSE

The South Texas Rebel Organization will have a Halloween Party and Haunted House open to the community, on Oct. 31, from 6:30-9 p.m. This event will be at the Poteet Lions Club building, located off Highway 16.

TRUNK OR TREAT AT PLEASANTON CHURCH OF CHRIST

Pleasanton Church of Christ in Pleasanton invites the community to its Trunk or Treat event on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the church parking lot.

Come on out for hayrides, games and more.

Pleasanton Church of Christ is located at 1003 N. Main St.

TRUNK OR TREAT AT TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH

On Halloween, Oct. 31, Trinity Baptist Church in Pleasanton will host Trunk or Treat from 6-8 p.m. at their parking lot. The public is invited.

The church is located at 1219 N. Bryant St. in Pleasanton, across the street from Sherry’s gas station.

Bring your children by for a fun and safe trickor treating experience on Halloween!
