Get Freezin’ for a Reason at Polar Bear Plunge Feb. 22Free Access

Are you tough enough to take a Polar Bear Plunge to support the Pleasanton Volunteer Fire Department?
The Pleasanton Parks and Recreation and the Pleasanton VFD are holding the first Polar Bear Plunge at the Pleasanton City Pool on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m.

Parks and Rec and Pleasanton VFD are challenging local organizations to pledge as a group and take the plunge together! In addition to the winter water, there will be ice added to the pool to make the water a little extra chilly.

After all pledgers complete their plunge, there will be a Splash Bash with s’mores, coffee, hot cocoa and activities to continue on the fun.
All proceeds will benefit Pleasanton VFD and will be presented in the form of a check after all donations are made. The minimum pledge for this event is $25 for participants; however, all donations are still welcome and can be dropped off at the Pleasanton Civic Center.
