George Farms to reopen Nov. 7 for Pumpkin RunFree Access

Jennifer and James George of George Farms thank everyone who attended the Pick Your Own Pumpkin event on Oct. 10. With the large turnout, they sold out of pumpkins. Their son Billy was also taken to the ER for high blood sugar levels, as he is a Type 1 diabetic.
Due to Billy’s health and being out of pumpkins, they have decided to close for now. However, George Farms will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 7 for the Wild Bill’s Pumpkin Fun Run.
You can register at RunSignUp.com and search Wild Bill’s Pumpkin Fun Run. Fees are $30 for the 5K Run/Walk, $25 for the Virtual 5K and $25 for the 10 and Under 5K. Runners are also able to sign up the day of the race, with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. The race will start at 8 a.m.
Bring the family and enjoy games and other activities during the day, as well as food vendors like The Backyard Kitchen and San Antonio Treat Factory. Proceeds from the event will go towards the cost of a Diabetic Alert Dog for Billy George. Those with questions may call 830-500-0442.
