Campbellton residents’ gas supply was interrupted for a few days during this cold weather snap.
According to Centerpoint Energy spokesperson Olivia Ross, maintenance had been performed on gas lines about eight miles away by another company and the pipeline operators apparently forgot to turn the gas supply back on and the gas lines bled dry.
The outage affected 37 residential customers. All lines were restored by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30.
