The City of Pleasanton will hold its general election and special election on Saturday, May 5. Friday, Feb. 16 was the deadline to file. These are the candidates who filed.

Incumbent Councilman Robert Leonhardt has filed for the special election in Dist. 1, unexpired term.

Running in the mayoral race are current Dist. 6 Councilman and Mayor Pro-tem Travis Hall Jr., Jeanne Burton Israel and Joseph “Joe” Michael Barnes.

In Dist. 4, incumbent Councilman Eliseo Flores will run against J.R. Gallegos.

In Dist. 5, Roger Garza and incumbent Councilman Robert Earl Wood have filed.

Britni Van Curan is running unopposed in Dist. 6.

    could you find a sample ballot and post it? I’ve looked all over and can’t find one.
