The Pleasanton Young Farmers’ Barbeque Cookoff drew 34 teams at this year’s PYF Cowboy of the Year Rodeo Festival.
Grand Prize went to the Frio Cookers team of Anthony DeLaO and Ernest Garza. Reserve Grand Champion went to Matias Serrata and Maribel Cuellar of the Pit Boss Smokers.
Dawn Mason served as the Head Judge at the IBCA sanctioned event with Edward LaGrange serving as chairman. Donors for the event were MG Building Materials, McNear, HEB and The Shot Glass.
