Mr. Francisco Pacheco (Pancho), born 3/08/1930 went to be with the lord on 11/11/2011. This wonderful Angel of the Lord, was preceded in death by his entire immediate family and his memory will be enjoyed by his nieces and nephews he leaves behind, most notably his great-niece Rose S. Washington and her family, whom Mr. Pacheco blessed by living with for the last few years of his life in Round Rock. Pancho was born in Poteet, Texas and spent most of his life in the Strawberry Capital of Texas. His father was Guillermo Pacheco, of Pleasanton and his mother was Jesusa Bermudez, from Poteet, who had another son, Gregorio Gloria, Pancho’s brother as well as a daughter, Dolores Gloria Soto of Poteet. Pancho moved to Round Rock, Texas in 2000. This man really taught all those around him that life need not be so complicated. Pancho enjoyed going out with his cowboy hat, sipping on a cup of coffee every morning, and listening to Tejano music. Believe it or not, Mr. Pacheco got to listen to music on a CD player, enjoyed Digital Video Recordings of Sabado Gigante on Univision every Saturday night, and enjoyed going out on the town whenever he got an opportunity. We that lived with him truly believe that this man had to be an Angel. Mr. Pacheco was never married or had any children. One of the purest souls one would meet. While most of us in families may fight over disagreements that come up in life, Pancho would only get angry when we wouldn’t give him his Sunkist Orange Soda on time. Mr. Pacheco will be laid to rest by the time you read this, feel free to contact Rose Washington, at the phone # of 512 587 8478 to discuss your memory of this great individual. We are comforted by this thought: “A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.” Ecclesiastes 7:1 We are comforted because we know the heaven this man made in our lives, and this must mean that the place he is now is even greater. Thank the Lord.
