Francisco H. Escalante was welcomed into the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior on July 31, 2020. He was born in Panuco, Veracruz to Josefa and Angel Escalante on October 7, 1948.

Many who knew Francisco “Pancho” knew him by his hard working ethic and dedication to his passion of welding. His legacy, E & H Welding Service, flourished in 1980 and served the Atascosa/Bexar county area for over 40 years. His business was well known through many oil companies such as Tepcore Oil, KT Lease Service, Mims Leasing Service and Patterson Drilling Company. His most recent project with the City of Pleasanton was the park renovation which he was very proud of. His fingerprint is left through our entire community. His will to work for whoever needed him the most and giving heart will be remembered forever by the people who loved and admired him.

Francisco is preceded in death by his mother and father, Josefa and Angel Escalante of Panuco, Veracruz; and his brother, Bacilio Escalante.

He is survived by his loving wife, Leonor Escalante; children, Frank Escalante, Jr. and wife Monica of Kyle, Massiel Escalante-Grollimund (who has since joined him in Heaven) and husband Joe of Jourdanton, and Angel Escalante and wife Nora of San Antonio; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10 at the Pleasanton City Park. Social distancing and masks are encouraged.
