Hot rod enthusiasts from all over South Texas gathered at the Atascosa River Park for the ITT 8th Annual First Run. Local hosts Roy and Margie Mendez reported a good turn out with 36 entries, some even coming from Austin, Del Rio and Alice.

Pleasanton 1600-meter relay men, John Aaron, Billy Arnold, Billy Martinez and Mike Greene, loosen up before their race at the Robert Cole Relays. The Eagles won the race easily in a time of 3:34:74.

Two of the littlest but loudest Pleasanton Eagle baseball fans are Jeffrey, 2, left and Patrick, nearly 4. It’s true that Jeffrey has a little pronunciation problem and sometime when he yells it comes out like, “Go, go, Gerweh Wichter” but there’s no mistaking the intent of either. Here they are in action at the Pleasanton-Kenedy game. The brothers are sons of PHS Coach and Mrs. Frank Tudyk.
