The Pleasanton Junior Varsity #1 Eaglettes competed in their first softball tournament of the season at Beeville Saturday and won the tournament with three solid victories. Sitting low in front is Crystal Brown and left to right on the second row are Janel Dille, Jesi David, Kelly Russell, Tiffany Arredondo and Kathy Ottinger. The back row is made up of Tracy Gonzales. Melissa McLellan, Candyce Lopez, Lauren Bean and Coach Darla Iley. Missing is Monica Casias.

Retama Manor-North named their Sweethearts of the Alzheimer’s Care Center. In the front are Queen Stella Rodriguez and King Jesus Garcia. In back are Duke Pedro Garza and Duchess Maria Quintero, Princess Margarita Douglas and Prince Paulino Ramirez.

A trip to Houston’s Livestock Show paid off for these Pleasanton Ag Mechanics students as they managed to capture five ribbons at the 10th Annual Agricultural Mechanics Contest. Kennard and Barbara Riley won three trophies in the Dance Into Spring Contest. First Slow Western, and third place in the Fast Western and Waltz Contest.
