Spirit Winner –  Arlene Seay of Rillies Flower Shop poses proudly after the store was named winner of the Spirit Award of the week by the Pleasanton Athletic Booster Club. Seay and her co-workers were in the midst of selling mums during homecoming week.

Hallelujah – State Highway workers began installing the long-awaited traffic lights on Highway 281 at the Goodwin intersection Tuesday. This is one of the busiest intersections and one of the most dangerous. Traffic lights should solve this problem.
