FIRE LEAVES FOUR WITHOUT HOME

On Sunday afternoon, a structure fire erupted at a home north of Primrose on Brandywine Rd. Multiple fire departments including Jourdanton and Pleasanton were on scene. The fire spread to surrounding grass, vehicles and propane tanks which resulted in a few minor explosions. No one was reported injured, though the family of four lost their home and seven dogs, including two service dogs are reported missing. Also on scene that day were EMS, Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office, and Atascosa County Fire Marshal’s Office. Atascosa County Fire Marshal Roger Garcia is still investigating the cause of the fire.
