Looking for something different – and inexpensive – to do this weekend? Has it been awhile since you’ve listened to or danced to LIVE music performed by top Tejano groups? If so, make plans to attend the 2013 Fall Music Festival this Sunday, September 22, at Jourdanton City Park.
The festival will begin at noon and end at about 11 p.m., and admission is FREE!
Horseshoe and washer tournaments kick off the event, with sign-up at noon and games beginning at 1:30. Cost is $20per team (pair) per event.
Live bands begin to play for your listening and dancing enjoyment at about 2 p.m. and will continue throughout the day and evening until the close of the festival. The music entertainment features top Tejano groups David Lee Garza y Los Musicales and Erick y Su Grupo Massore, as well as Lobo IV, La Venganza, Impacto, Texas Heat, Joe Vic y Los Kumbacheros, and Saved by Grace.
Food and drink booths will be available to keep you energized throughout the day. (Absolutely NO ice chests are permitted!!) There will also be a silent auction and a drawing. Proceeds from the event will benefit St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton.
Bring your lawn chair and come join us for an afternoon and evening of great music, dancing, food, and fun!! For further information, contact Amador Lugo at (210) 355- 7472.
