Eusebio Salinas, age 77, from Cotulla, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 in Uvalde. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and followed the Houston Astros. Eusebio enjoyed listening to his Spanish music. His greatest joy was spending time with his family who he loved very much.
He is survived by his sons, Velial Salinas and wife Annette from Bryan,Texas, Eusebio Salinas, Jr. and wife Mary from Uvalde, Texas, and Bernardo Salinas and wife M.G. from Atascosa, Texas; daughter, Annabelle Dempsey and husband Mark from Pleasanton, Texas, and sisters, Felicitas Ramirez and husband Ramiro from Uvalde, Texas, and Leonor Ramirez and husband Remijio from Uvalde, Texas.
Eusebio is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, Roseanne (Shane) Walker, Andrea (Candace) Bourque, Adrianna Salinas, Anthony Salinas, Trisha Adams, Veronica Adams, Rudy Campos, Jr., Klarissa (Chris) Jimenez, Franki Gonzales, Eddie Martinez, Jerikka Salinas, Blanca Salinas, Amber Salinas, Brandon Salinas and Cristian Salinas, and 26 great grandchildren.
Eusebio was preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Juanita (Gomez) Salinas.
Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home, Pleasanton, from 12 – 8 p.m., with a prayer service held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, February 14.
