I run across all types of quotes, thoughts etc. shared through social media.
This one first popped up on Rantings of a Beautiful Mind page and I felt the need to share it on my Facebook page and now here. After a little digging, I found the original post by the author Marisa Donnelly. It was a longer article but this was the portion that was posted.
I hope you live louder. I hope you laugh more. I hope you sing at the top of your lungs. I hope you drive with the windows down and let the wind rustle through your hair. I hope you hug. I hope you kiss. I hope you surround yourself with people who make you feel alive. I hope you become the type of person that brings good energy wherever you go, and the type of person people want to be around. I hope you speak what’s on your mind, that you raise your voice for injustice, that you tell others that you love them, instead of waiting until it’s too late. I hope you live louder, shine brighter. From this moment on.

I’m taking this to another level this year. I’m going to be louder on my quest to get healthier. This isn’t a resolution per se, but a way to hold myself accountable to be a healthier version of the me that I already love.
The way I see it, I hope to rely on family and friends to be supportive during this time. Will I deter? Of course I will. But I am counting on encouraging thoughts and success to keep on track.
