Elizabeth Lang

Elizabeth Vyvial Kudelka Moreas Lang, was born January14, 1925 to Frank Vyvial and Anna Fojt Vyvial in Louise, Texas. She was one of fifteen children.  Betty died on October 26, 2016 in Jourdanton, Texas at the age of 91. 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Ignac and Marie Trojcak Vyvial of Moravia, Texas, and Joseph and Rosie Fojt of Breslau, Texas; brothers and sisters, Roman (Annie), Aghata (aka Harriette) Hartman, Hilda O’Day (Buck), Edward (KIA Italy WWII) (Mildred), William, Wilhemina Dicus aka “Willie Mae or aunt Bill”(Arvil), Adolph (Rosalie), George, Alma Hicks, Emilee Anderson (Oscar “Andy”) Elmont, and Bernard.   

She is survived by her brothers, Allen (Loraine), Elgin (Joyce); sisters-in-law, Georgia (Elmont), Faye (George) and fifty +/- nieces and nephews, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren over 4 generations now carry on the family line. 

Betty lived many years in LaMarque and Galveston and in later years Weslaco in the Rio Grande Valley.  Aunt Betty had no children but opened her home to her nieces and nephews, many of us can remember walking to the beach from her home in Galveston.  Cremation will be followed by a graveside service at 10:00 AM on November 12, 2016 at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.  Nephew Dr. Gary O’Day Chaplain/Major USAF Ret. will officiate at the graveside services.
