Early voting for City of Pleasanton runoff election starts Monday

The City of Pleasanton candidates for the unexpired term of District 3 Harmony Ratterree and Daniel Zertuche are set to face off in a Municipal Runoff Election on June 15.

Early voting for the runoff election begins on Monday through June 7 and June 10-11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pleasanton City Hall.

Zertuche and Ratterree were separated by five votes forcing the runoff election. A third candidate, Levi Hughes received 8% of the votes in the race.

According to the Atascosa County Elections office, there are 6,690 registered voters that can vote in the City of Pleasanton. Roughly 10% of those registered voters cast ballots in the municipal election on May 4, which was a low turnout for Pleasanton.

Either Zertuche or Ratterree will fill the vacated spot held by Jaime “JJ” Trevino Jr.
