The Pleasanton boys basketball team claimed the Silver bracket at the Jourdanton Classic last Thursday through Saturday.
The Eagles defeated San Antonio Lutheran 60-40 in the championship to finish 3-1 at the tournament.
Pleasanton built a 24-4 lead after the opening quarter and rolled the rest of the way.
Pleasanton sophomore Dalton Hobbs led all scorers with 21 points.
Ralph Guerrero had 12 points, and Santiago Arguijo added 11.
The Eagles started the tournament with a 61-53 overtime win over SA Gervin on Thursday.
Arguijo and Quentin Alvarado each had 11 points to pace Pleasanton.
The Eagles continued pool play Thursday with a 59-47 loss to eventual tournament champion La Vernia.
Alvarado had a team-high 13 points for Pleasanton, which also got 11 points from Arguijo and nine from Hobbs.
The 1-1 split in pool play placed the Eagles in the Silver bracket.
Pleasanton took out Johnson City 49-42 on Friday to advance to the championship game.
Alvarado led the team with 13 points, and Arguijo added 12.
In all, 11 players scored for Pleasanton against Johnson City.
The Eagles traveled to take on SA Fox Tech on Tuesday night and will head to the Three Rivers tournament beginning Thursday.
