DOROTHY LAMBARIA




 

 

Dorothy Lee Starr Lambaria, aged 86, passed away in Pleasanton on January 7, 2015.

She was born to William and Lela Lopez Starr on February 3, 1928. She married the kindest man of her life, Pablo Deleon Lambaria, on December 18, 1943, and remained with him until his death on October 29, 1984. If you knew Dorothy, you knew she was a woman who loved her family, and playing bingo, to the utmost. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Mary Brill, son Richard Lambaria, and son-in-law Paul Davila; Her grandchildren, Benjamin Lambaria, Paul Brill, Sr and wife Jessica, Pamela Davila, and Martina Davila; Great-Grandchildren Paul Jr., Brandon, and Joeanthony Brill, Desirae Segovia, Alexis Sotelo, Megan and Rey Louis Gonzales; Sisters Dollie Mae Hames, Judy Brown and husband Tommy, and her brother Thomas Starr and wife Lorraine and sisters in law, Evelyn Starr and Grace Gonzales.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pablo Lambaria, Sr.; Parents, William Sr. and Lela Lopez Starr; Children, Pablo Lambaria, Jr., Elnora Lambaria, and Laura Davila; Siblings, Virginia Lambaria, William Starr Jr., James Starr, Irvin Starr, Edna Munoz, and Laura Cruz.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14 at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass service will be given on Thursday, January 15th at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton. Interment will follow at Esparza Cemetery.
