Doris Aline Quinney, age 79, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Aline was born on January 28, 1938 to Pearl and D. L. Montgomery in Pleasanton.

In her younger years, she was an accomplished softball player and often spoke of playing sports with her brothers. She was her husband Jessy’s partner in everything. They didn’t do anything apart. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with him as well as watching all types of sports.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Jessy Quinney; brothers and sisters, J. W. (Hazel) Montgomery, Leroy (Thelma) Montgomery, and Richard Montgomery; her brother-in-law, Dalton White, and several nieces and nephews.

Aline will be forever in the hearts of her son, Michael (Kim Pipes) Quinney; two grandchildren, Jacie Kay Quinney and Jesse Kolton Quinney, all of Bellville; her sister Mildred White of Pleasanton and her sister-in-law, Ethel Montgomery of Harlingen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews that were extremely special to her.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel with Pastor David Kimberly officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Park in Alice.
