Domingo Alcorta, age 82, of Jourdanton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his father, Miguel Rodriguez Alcorta; mother, Aurora Salazar Alcorta; brothers, Jose Maria Luna (Chema) Alcorta and Jose Ramon Alcorta, sister, Adelida Alcorta (Lala) Luna; and longtime partner, Juanita Ybarra. He is survived by his brothers, Jessie (Chuy) Salazar Alcorta of Altus, OK, and Mateo Salazar Alcorta, Sr. of Jourdanton; sister, Herminia Salazar Gonzalez of Pleasanton; numerous nieces and nephews; step-children and step-grandchildren, Leo from Charlotte and Elvia Ybarra from Pleasanton. Mr. Alcorta worked in the Oil Fields with KT Lease in Jourdanton for a few years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, drinking and dancing. He enjoyed going for rides and listening to music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation was Friday, May 7, at 4 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A rosary service was held on Friday evening at 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.camerofuneralhome.com.
