On September 8 at 10p.m., Deputy Sheriff John McRae stopped a 2010 Chevrolet in Pleasanton for Defective Tail Lights. The driver failed to produce a driver’s license. Deputy McRae detained the driver who told the officer that there was narcotic paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Deputy McRae assisted by Deputy Chris Neely conducted a search of the vehicle and located a pipe containing a crystal-like substance and a prescription bottle with
26 Risperidone tablets and 52 Methylphenid capsules. The driver did not have a prescription for either drug. The deputies arrested Luis DeLeon, age 26, of Corgey Road, Pleasanton.
DeLeon was charged with Possession of Dangerous Drugs without a Prescription and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine less than one gram. Pleasanton PD Officer M. DeLeon assisted the deputies. Bond was set at $9,000 by J.P. Pct. 2 Kyle Bradley. DeLeon remains in the Atascosa County Jail in lieu of bond according to
