Deadline for namesake bricks in Pleasanton River Park April 25

Purchase a “legacy of love” by buying a brick that will become a permanent part of the new Pleasanton River Park pathway. Don’t miss out! The deadline to become part of the brick pathway is April 25. There are so many ways to show your pride and become a permanent part of the park. Have you or a family member been a recipient of the Chamber’s award of the year? How about a past Cowboy of the Year or Cowboy Homecoming Queen? Want to honor your or your parent’s wedding anniversary or celebrate the day your business opened? Were you president of a local service club? Were you part of a winning local sport’s team? Be creative. Support your park by participating in this worthy fundraiser organized by the Pleasanton Parks Foundation. While there are many opportunities to give including park benches with name plates, and ‘naming rights’ for larger amenities, the bricks are affordable for all. The cost is: $40 for a 4”x8” brick with three lines of engraving and 18 characters per line. $60 for a 8”x8” brick with four lines of engraving and 18 characters per line. Simply go to the Pleasanton Civic Center to the Parks and Recreation office to see Tony Aguirre or Tabitha Garza. Bring a check as this is the only payment accepted at this time.
