Blackhill residence burglarized

The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a reward of up to $5,000 being offered for one week only will help solve a burglary located in the 2600 block of FM 478, in the Blackhill Community.

On Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at around 2 a.m., sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 2600 block of FM 478 in the Blackhill Community for a burglary. Contact was made with the homeowner who stated they were out of town for a week and came home to discover their residence had been burglarized. Evidence indicated entry had been made through a window. Stolen property included an HP laptop, a Dell laptop, a 12 gauge shotgun, a 30-06 rifle, a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun, a Heritage Arms Rough Rider .22 caliber rifle, a .380 caliber semiautomatic hand, an open heart rose gold necklace, a Samsung tablet and a Celestron telescope along with an undisclosed amount of money. The estimated value of the property stolen was over $3,000.

Sheriff’s Investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
