The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office, along with Crime Stoppers, is hoping that a reward of up to $5,000 being offered for one week only will help solve a recent theft from a business yard located in the 5000 block of TX HWY 97 East, four miles northeast of the City of Pleasanton.
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at around 10:30 a.m., Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Altitude Energy located in the 5000 block of TX HWY 97 East for theft of property. Contact was made with the manager who stated that a trailer with a Polaris Ranger were stolen from the yard. He stated the lock and chain to the gate were gone and were not located. The trailer and Polaris Ranger were last seen in the yard on Sept. 17, 2020, at 7 p.m. The stolen trailer was described as a 2020 20’ PJ car hauler along with a green in color Polaris Ranger. The estimated value of the property stolen was over $38,000.
Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it. If anyone has any more information on this case or knows who committed the crime they are urged to call Crime Stoppers immediately and be eligible for the large cash reward.
