The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services will hold a “Protected and Connected Fair” on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Cowboy Fellowship Church in Jourdanton. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy fun, food, prizes, vendors and games.
The fair is designed to reach out to the community to try and recruit individuals interested in fostering and/or adopting children in foster care from Atascosa County.
There will be free food hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones! Stop by for free activities such as fingerprinting, cupcake walk, story time, jump rope, basketball throw, bean bag toss, duck pond and more!
