The 53rd Cowboy Homecoming and Turn N Burn Festival will feature some amazingly talented entertainment this weekend. A few of the performers are even locals you have heard of, and if you haven’t, you must be living under a rock. All main entertainment (Friday and Saturday night) will take place on the main stage inside the Show Barn. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased for $15 for both nights on Eventbrite.com or for $20 at the door.
Friday, March 8
You wanted Tejano music at Cowboy Homecoming, you got it. Friday evening is Tejano night! La Tropa F will take the stage at 8 p.m. followed by headliners, Poteet natives and brothers, David Lee Garza y los Musicales at 10:30 p.m. Put on your dancing shoes and hit the floor with Tejano tunes!
Saturday, March 9
Daytime entertainment will take place outside next to the Show Barn arena on a portable stage. Jerry DeLeon will perform at around 1 p.m. with The Mike Knapp Band taking the stage at around 4 p.m.
Saturday night’s lineup consists of country music galore and you can find two Pleasanton ISD graduates and brothers taking the stage. Mario Flores and The Soda Creek Band will take the stage at 9 p.m. with PISD 1979 graduate, KJ 97 iHeartRadio music personality and member of the Country Radio Hall of Fame, Randy Carroll will be performing with them. His brother and PISD 1987 graduate, John Carroll plays guitar in the Cory Morrow band who will take the stage at 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.
