The First Presbyterian Church of Pleasanton invites current and former members to celebrate their 100th year this Saturday, March 15 with a potluck dinner.

The next city-wide clean up for Pleasanton starts Monday, March 17.
You may set your bulk/ brush out starting now.

The city will be divided into three areas and three weeks, with each week focusing on one area.
•Week One will run March 17-21.
•Week Two- March 24-28.

City and School candidates for the Poteet city and school elections are encouraged to participate in the Pleasanton Express Election Guide. This free guide will be published on April 16, 2014.
The deadline is Thursday, March 27 and candidates are asked to send in their statement (150 word limit) and a photo to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The fourth annual Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and Western Premium BBQ Products Turnn Burn barbeque cook-off will once again need judges to come out on Saturday, March 22 to help choose the best cooks around. It all takes place at the Atascosa County Showbarn grounds. Please visit their website, www.pleasantoncofc.com or call the office at 830-569- 2163.
In addition to the cookoff, there will be a team roping on Saturday morning. Books open at 8 a.m. and the roping begins at 9 a.m.
Friday night entertainment will be Rick Trevino and Gabe Garcia with $10 admission. On Saturday, Pleasanton’s own Rodney Hayden and Earl Thomas Conley will entertain. Admission is $20.
