Taste of Texas Food Show

Since we are talking about strawberries and the festival is approaching, this might be the time to enter your best recipe featuring strawberries or your best salsa concoction in the Taste of Texas Food Show on Sunday, April 14. See the rules on page 5B.

Mwangaza Choir still here

The very talented Mwangaza Youth Choir from Uganda is still in our county. They will be performing at Lytle Country Baptist Church tonight, Wednesday, March 13.

Judges still needed

If you like BBQ (and who doesn’t?), you should be a judge at the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce Turnn Burn BBQ Cookoff on March 22-23. They need lots of judges (they have 100+ teams already) so, sign up at www.pleasantoncofc.com and click on the Turn-n-Burn link.

It will appear in the April 17 issue. It will include the city and school candidates It is a free service.
