Cleto to serve as MC of Merry on Main’s Who’s Got Talent Show

Merry on Main St. held at Pleasanton’s River Park and Downtown will take place Dec. 6 and 7. New this year is the Merry on Main Who’s Got Talent show held Friday night at 5:30. The talent show is open to all ages and Terri Cuevas who is part of the Merry on Main planning committee is taking two-minute video auditions until October 31. Simply email a video to her at merryonmain@gmail.com. There will also be an open call audition held at the Pleasanton Civic Center, November 7 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Cash prizes sponsored by Maldonado Law Group, PLLC will be given out with $250 for first, $100 for second and $50 for third. The winner will also have a chance to perform on Saturday on the Main Stage and be featured in the Lighted Christmas Parade.

Merry on Main is delighted to have Cleto Rodriguez, known as the clean comic, serving as the master of ceremonies. Born and raised in San Antonio, Rodriguez has been performing since 1995 and has worked with comedians George Lopez, Carlos Mencia, Daniel Tosh, Wayne Brady, Brett Butler, Tim Hawkins and Bob Smiley. He has even opened for living legend B.B. King.

Rodriguez connects with audiences by relating everyday life experiences. Anything and everything is fair game, from marriage mishaps to the challenges of dieting. His comedy is high-energy, observational and hilarious with a brilliant Latino twist. From clean comedian to TV personality, you can catch Rodriguez daily as the latest morning personality on FOX News First.

Serving as judges for the talent show are “Country Western Rockstar Rancher” Brad Jenschke, lead guitarist for 86’d and business owner of JM Connected Auto Sales, Atascosa Insurance Agency and Pleasanton Finance Co. John Mayse, community leader and wife of Mayor Travis Hall, Linda Hall and owner and operator Lone Star Athletics and Flip-in the bus, Kristy David.

Merry on Main is a family focused Christmas festival filled with fun, charm and holiday spirit.
