City Council unveils final master park plan

The final plan for the Pleasanton River Park renovation and revitalization was unveiled during the Thursday, April 6 city council meeting.

Many new features to the park’s update in Phase 1 will include a water splash pad, skate park and concrete walking trails. A definitive construction start date has not yet been announced. They are still working toward finalizing the total cost of the project.

The Pleasanton Express will continue to update the community as more information becomes available. We encourage everyone to attend their local meetings to stay current on all the happenings in their local community. The next meeting of the Pleasanton City Council will take place on Thursday, April 20 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
