Christmas services set



All Saints Episcopal

Join All Saints Episcopal Church at 6:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve to sing your favorite Christmas songs and carols.

Their traditional Candlelight Service begins at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Craig Pooser, celebrant. After the service they will enjoy refreshments and fellowship with gift bags for the children.

The church is located at Hwy. 97 in Pleasanton.

St. Matthew , St. Ignatius Catholic Church

Holiday and Christmas services at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton and St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Jourdanton are:

•Dec. 17- Penetential Service at 6:30 p.m. at St. Matthew.

•Christmas Eve, Dec. 24- St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton will hold 5 p.m. Family Mass and Midnight Mass. St. Ignatius in Christine will hold 8 p.m. Mass.

•On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, Mass at St. Matthew will be at 10 a.m.

•Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God services are on Dec. 31: 5 p.m. at St. Ignatius and 7 p.m. at St. Matthew.

•January 1 Mass at St. Matthew is at 9 a.m.

St. John Lutheran

St. John Lutheran Church in Jourdanton will have their Candlelight Service on Dec. 24, at 7 p.m.

St. Philip Benizi

The upcoming Christmas Mass schedule at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Poteet is:

•Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24- Children’s Mass at 5 p.m. The Posada is scheduled for 11:15 p.m. followed by Midnight Mass at 12 a.m.

•Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25- Mass is at 10 a.m.

•New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 31- Mass at 7 p.m.

•New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1- Mass at 10 a.m.

FBC Pleasanton

The community is also invited to First Baptist Church’s annual Christmas eve candlelight service on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.

This special time of worship includes the reading of the Christmas story through scripture, Christmas music and candlelight carol singing. All are welcome. The church is located on 400 N. Reed St. in Pleasanton.

Crosspoint Fellowship

Crosspoint Fellowship will have a special Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24 .

Anyone in the community is invited to join them as they read the Christmas story and have contemporary and traditional Christmas songs, ending with a tribute to Jesus our Savior, the light of the world.
