Calf ropers, crafters, and county residents are all invited to take part in the 58th annual Christine Homecoming turkey dinner and celebration Sunday, Nov. 11, at St. Ignatius Catholic Hall in Christine.
Everyone is invited to share in the celebration, which serves as a fundraiser for community projects and has offered past and present residents a chance to renew ties with family, friends, and classmates since the 1960s.
Crafters and artisans who would like to donate handmade items large or small to the silent auction or bazaar should contact Amanda Stockhorst for details at 830-570-1924.
This year’s reunion will feature crafts, a silent auction, door prizes, and a raffle featuring quilts created by local fabric artists. Entertainment will include a roping in the community arena. Roping books open at 11:30 a.m., with draw at 12:30. Ropers can contact Marissa at 850-398-2225 for roping information.
Serving begins at 10:30. All plates are $8 and include turkey, dressing, and all the trimmings, including drinks and dessert.
