Charlotte’s Amber Gonzales pulls down a rebound during the 43-41 home win against Utopia on Dec. 4. Charlotte (4-5) won on a pair of last-miinute free throws by Katherine Groff to bounce back from four straight losses during the weekend. Groff finished with 14 points. Jullisa Cantu had nine points. Jessalyn Sanchez had eight points. Groff scored 10 points in a 56-29 loss to Rocksprings on Dec. 1. Also that day, Groff had 11 points and Cantu had nine in a 62-28 loss to Harper. On Nov. 30, Groff scored 10 points and Cantu had nine in a 43-31 loss to Llano. Charlotte also lost 34-22 to Menard that day. Cantu scored 11 points. Groff had seven points.
