5th Annual Turn-N-Burn BBQ Cook-Off and Music Festival

Join us for the 5th Annual Turn-N-Burn IBCA sanctioned BBQ Cook-Off and Dances at the Pleasanton River Park! Our annual event kicks off Friday, March 13th at 8:00 pm with live entertainment featuring The Pear Ratz, Rodney Hayden, and the legendary Bellamy Brothers.

Early to rise on Saturday as the day starts with cooking some of the best BBQ in the state! We are looking for many volunteers to judge chicken, brisket and ribs during the day on Saturday from 10:00 until 3:00. Perspective judges must be at least 18 years of age and have an appetite! Interested individuals should report to the Small Pavilion area and look for the “Judges Check-In” sign.

Saturday evening entertainment will feature Gabe Garcia and Aaron Watson, beginning at 9:00 pm. Tickets for dances are available now at the Chamber office, 605 2nd St., Pleasanton.

We want to thank our generous sponsors for making this event possible and for showing their commitment to our community: Glazer’s, GENCO, Pursch Motors, JW Hughes Excavation, McAnear, CAM Safety, Double K Homes, TNT Truck Outfitters, AP Electric, Bulldog Machine Services, L O Transport, South Texas Regional Medical Center, Atascosa Dodge, Texas Pride Fuels
