Every individual who lives in Atascosa County is to be counted in the U.S. Census. If you do not complete the 2020 Census, our community could miss out on hundreds of millions of dollars of federal funding in our local community for important programs and services for the next 10 years. Our community has great needs that can benefit from funding–schools, new roads and services for families, older adults and children. The 2020 Census is especially important to school districts because it provides a baseline for the next 10 years of school planning.
The time is now. Don’t risk our community losing critical benefits and don’t wait to be counted! Respond today at 2020census. gov. If you feel you need help, the City of Pleasanton is holding two events August 20 and 25 from, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Pleasanton Public Library. The census form is fast and easy to fill out. It takes only a few minutes.
Households have until October 31 to respond to the 2020 Census. However, census takers have begun following up with households that haven’t responded yet in select areas and will begin following up with households nationwide in August.
