The parish of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton invites everyone to their 10th annual Diez y Seis de Septiembre Fiestas Patrias this Saturday, Sept. 18. Be a part of the celebration at St. Andrew Catholic Church Parish Hall, 626 Market St. in Pleasanton.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with free admission. Be sure to purchase a carne guisada plate for $10, which will include rice, beans and bread. Other goodies available for purchase will be menudo, tamales and pan de dulce. All funds raised will benefit the St. Andrew Parish Hall renovation fund. The event is BYOB.

Andrea Jae “Jae Bird” Gutierrez is 5 years old and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Efriam Gutierrez. She attends kindergarten at Pleasanton ISD.
Zanella Herrera is 10 years old and the daughter of Israel and Ana Herrera. She attends Pleasanton Elementary School.
Sisters Kinzie and Kyndall Rakowitz are the daughters of Jason and Samantha Rakowitz. Both attend Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. Kinzie is 9 years old, while her younger sister is 7 years old.
