Candidates speak, voters can listen and decide at public forum




Candidates for various offices will address the public at an open, non-partisan forum to be held here in Atascosa County on February 13, 2012.

Are you not sure who to vote for or do you want to be present just to support the candidate you have already determined meet your qualifications? Either way, you will want to come and participate in the political process held as a community service by the Brush Country Tea Party. Please be aware that this forum is in every way non-partisan; all candidates, whether officially filed or intending to file (Democrat, Republican or Independent) were invited to participate. Just as our guests will, the individual members of the hosting Brush Country Tea Party will be deciding who will be their candidates of choice. And, you will enjoy the refreshments offered for your pleasure as you visit with the candidates, one on one, after their presentations.

There will be a question and answer period after each candidate’s address to the assembly, as well as a one hour mixer at the conclusion of the formal presentations. This candidate forum will be held at the American Legion Hall in Jourdanton, on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. It is free to the public and the candidates alike.
