According to the Jourdanton Police department, Sgt. Sawicki and K9 Kimbo along with Officer Beavers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Chestnut St. on Thursday for what was reported to be a possible burglary in progress.

Officers located several individuals at the scene. As officers investigated what was going on at the location of the call, methamphetamine was found in the pocket of one of the male subjects.

Jourdanton Police said that once again the “these aren’t my pants” defense did not keep the suspect, Robert Treviño, from being booked into the Atascosa County Jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One/4-200 grams a 2nd degree felony, and Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.
