Four teams are heading to the play-offs this season – Pleasanton, Jourdanton, Charlotte and McMullen County.

Fall Festival in Jourdanton

Cowboy Fellowship invites all to come to the Jourdanton City Park from 6-8p.m. for a free fall festival.

Free candy, games, prizes and more will be enjoyed with a fireworks display immediately following.

Howl-o-weenie time

The Pleasanton Public Library is hosting their 10th annual pet costume contest and weenie dog races this Saturday, November 2. The canine fun begins at 10 a.m. with registration opening at 9:30 a.m. Nachos, Frito Pies and a bake sale will be held, so come hungry.

Last weekend to see Rex’s Exes

Atascosa County Troupe’s newest play will be presented this weekend.

Jane Stewart ensures that this play is as funny or funnier than the last one ACT performed.

Texas humor is always funny. Exes? But of course!

Catch the shows Nov. 1-3. Performance times are Friday & Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Early voting ends on Friday, November 1.

Besides the Constitutional Amendment election, Pleasanton ISD is holding a bond election and the City of Joudanton is having a council member election.

Voting will be held on the General Election Day, Tuesday, November 5 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
