On December 28, 2018 at 7:52 am Officers of the Pleasanton Police Department were dispatched to the 700 blk of Bowen for a report of an unknown male inside of a residence.
While officers were en route to the 700 blk of Bowen St. they received a second call for a male that had entered a vehicle. The second caller stated a male was inside of her vehicle attempting to take her purse and keys on the 700 blk of Trade. The female reported a scuffle ensued and the male was unable to grab the purse and keys. The female received minor injuries due to the scuffle.
Responding Officers Viesca, Martinez and Presley quickly located 31-year-old Patrick Ingle as the suspect matching the description.
Ingle was later confirmed to be the male that was inside of the residence and the male who had entered the vehicle. Ingle was taken into custody on charges of Criminal Trespass Habitation and Robbery.
The case is still currently under investigation by the Pleasanton Police Department.
