Bill Weston, 81, passed at his home in Kingsbury on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Bill was born in Merkel, to Joe and Lena (Demere) Weston on November 11, 1938.

Bill was raised in Mulberry Canyon and was the third of four children. Bill served in the U.S. Army, after his service he went on to work on several legendary ranches in Texas and New Mexico, a few of which are the Clarence Scharbauer Ranches, The Waggoners, BF Phillips, and Joe McDermott. Bill also had many partnerships throughout his life on cattle and still had cattle in the end.

Bill is survived by Virginia, his wife of 36 years; his sister, Mary Tom Snoody of Midland; son, Charles (Martiza) of Ocala, Florida; daughters, Debbie (James) Barker of Merkel, Beverly McGaugh of Merkel, April (Reagan) Brooks of Kingsbury; son, Ted (Angela) Culbreth of Madisonville; and sister-in-laws, Iva Weston and Gracie Weston. Bill was a special uncle to Don, Pam, Janie, Robben, Randy and Jeff. Very special to Bill are Susan Weston, Barry Berg and K.D. Kaigler.

Bill was grandad to Brandon, Blake, Cory, Courtney, Mindy, Michelle, Heather, Shelby, Taylor, Kristen, Samantha, Adrianna, Robert, Grace, Ali, Emily, Ryley. He was also grandad to many, many great-grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, mother and brothers, Stanley Weston and Tad Weston.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 15 at 11 a.m. at the Westover Baptist Church, 1310 Advance Street, San Marcos, TX 78666.
