Cattle producers have the opportunity to attend an important update seminar without having to leave the ranch.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service representatives from seven Texas counties are working together to host a Far West Texas Beef Cattle and Brush Update virtual seminar on Oct. 27, 8:30- 11 a.m.
The seminar, which will be held via Zoom, is free, but participants must preregister.
Topics will include brands, toxic rangeland plants and control strategies and important legislative issues that impact producers.
Event speakers will include: Corpus Christi AgriLife Extension range specialist, Megan Clayton, Ph.D.; Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association executive director of government and public affairs, Kaleb McLaurin; and TSCRA executive director of law enforcement, brand and inspection services, Scott Williamson.
