For the first time in program history, the Pleasanton Eagles men’s soccer team are district champs.
The Eagles locked up the crown with a 7-0 win over Poteet on Tuesday, March 2.
Pleasanton was powered to the win by three goals from Silverio Banda. The Eagles also got a pair of goals from Carlos Garcia.
Also scoring for Pleasanton were Zachary Zamora and Jose Angel Perez.
The Eagles (8-0 in District 27-4A) will travel to Uvalde on Friday before closing the season at Somerset on March 16.
