During this holiday season we honor the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, The Christ, as well as other significant religious beliefs. It is during these crazy times we reflect and think about what is important. Faith, family and hope are what I pray we are spending time on. I pray for all my readers’ health, their family’s health and their financial needs.
I have been so blessed to be your county judge and it is my desire to always keep your thoughts and needs in mind as I do this job. As we go through this season, please remember those whose jobs, both paid and unpaid, remain on duty and are vigilant for our protection. They give up their time so that we can be in our homes celebrating with family.
Don’t worry about the news. The world is a mess and has been for most of its known existence. The politicians in Washington, D.C. and other world capitols are fighting over just about everything. That is just the “normal.” Divisiveness in Austin over the state’s business seems to be reaching the level of the national politicians. That seems to be a new “normal” for state business. For the next week, let the news go and focus on what is first and foremost of importance – faith, family and hope.
Quote: “For today in the City of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11 NASB
