Crime of the Week: September 19, 2019 Headlights, Front Grills, Batteries, Name Plates
The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a reward of up to FIVE THOUSANDDOLLARS being offered for one week only will help solve a theft that occurred at a dealership in the 110000 block of IH 37, located 1 mile north of the city of Pleasanton.
On Monday, Sept. 10, 2018 at around 8:30 a.m., sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Allways Atascosa Dodge dealership located in the 110000 block of IH 37 for a theft. Deputies made contact with employees who stated they discovered that two 2018 Dodge 2500 Longhorn Edition Pickups had parts stolen off of them in the lot. Security cameras captured a male subject tampering with the vehicles in the early morning hours of Sept. 9, 2018. Stolen property included driver side and passenger side headlights, front grills, batteries and name plates. The estimated value of stolen property was over $3,000.00.
Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
