RV Broken into in Poteet
The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a reward of up to FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLARS being offered for one week only will help solve a burglary that occurred in the 800 block of Jenschke Lane located 6 miles north of the city of Poteet.
On July 1, 2018 at around 4:30 p.m. sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 800 block of Jenschke Lane for a burglary of a residence. Deputies made contact with the property owner who stated that his tenant’s RV was broken into. The tenant was out of town and left the property on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. The RV had been ransacked and a backpack filled with ammunition was left near a gate. Stolen property consisted of a Browning 12 gauge shotgun, a .410 Break Snake Charmer, a Remington 12 gauge shotgun, a Nova 3.5 magnum shotgun and a Marlin .22 caliber rifle. The estimated value of stolen property was over $1,500.00.
Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
